Human Shape Fruits: Nareepol Tree

I was searching for unbelievable, unique nature images on the web when I came across this one. The tree is called Nareepol tree and is found on Thailand.

What's interesting about the said tree is that, its fruits are in shape of a maiden/girl/woman, whatever term you want to use for it . ^.^

I really admired the beauty of it. I came across some other blogger's page with an image of it and some commentors says it is a hoax. I don't want to believe it....

but as I search the web for more pictures or images of the said Nareepol tree for more images, all I had viewed was the same images as above from different websites and bloggers. How could there be a lot of sites about Nareepol tree with the same images?! I don't know.

It would be more appreciated if this imiges presented as a piece of art. It has been a silly way of fooling people.

I bought about 2 pairs, i got two males and 2 females from my latest trip to thailand. I will cut them to see what is inside. they appeal to be brown wood shaped like the pictures shown above...i don't believe it, but i will find out.
